I hope that I might be forgiven for letting the forum know that although I’m a cantankerous and self-opinionted old fart, at least one other person on the planet can put up with me for an extended period of time.

W/E from 1.30 GMT today, SHE and I will have been married for forty years.

Yeah, we married in haste…we met at the archery club one sunday, and got married three weeks the next friday. Best decision I ever made in my life.

My first one traded me for whatever was behind curtain #3, so I’ll be an ancient turd rather than just an old fart before the new one and I get that far… Ones that stick are something to be right proud of. Take her dancing, or maybe somewhere else she loves.
