Mike:
“Mike, there was NO WAY to buy a NEW Bumblebee Mogul last year or two without MTS and their sound fitted, mandatory. Just for one.”

You could get them, but you had no choice of buying one without the mandatory bullshXt installed.

If you want to do something else, control-wise, I can bypass the built-in MTS crXp, but the sound is still pre-programmed, non-accessible to a trigger.

Folks tend to be a little upset that they bought a pXg-in-a-pXke.

Dave,

You mean even if it is a “really goodlooking pig”?

Could it be that those upset people need to get informed what the hobby is supposed to be about instead of moaning about a few extra dollars wasted??

On another note… funny we didn’t hear anything about LGB containers on the container ship that was beached in Devon. Lots of BMW stuff, no LGB??? Pity!

Funny you should mention the containers on the beached ship .
There are many , many red boxes on the beach from the broken containers , all displaying a white flag . When you get close to them , apparently you can hear muffled shouts of

"Kamerad , for us the vor iss ofer "

The other model stuff washed ashore was mainly Bruder . Sorry about the missing dots over the U .

Dave , I did understand what you meant , but I have to say that I was offered a new one . But that does not mean that you can get them in America without the annoying bits . I do fully understand and even sympathise . Personally , I do not buy a loco for its sound , and prefer fitting my own LGB decoders , then the LGB sound modules . That way I can make them fit my requirements and get them more cheaply—just as you say . No , I think that you are right , the facility should be available to buy just as much or as little as you want . Silly marketing ploy , must have lost a few sales through it .

Mike

Thanks Dave. Did the modification this morning to my new Shay.
