Yes they did! I bought many HO trains there. Good prices on many items back then.
E J Korvettes = Eight Jewish Korean war vets (veterans) Plan was 8 stores, they got to 7. The last vet ended with an office, procurement? manager?
You old guys gonna sit here and jingle your pocket change while standing in line at a diner waiting for breakfast or are you gonna “Post Your Fall Running Pictures” ?
Hey Dave, Old Guys love doing that because it irritates the crap out of all the young people that are always in such a hurry.

Who’s sittin? I’m just trying to find the diner.
I don’t wait in line at the diner. Go in the rear door and sit at the counter. Plan is to run a Halloween train on the 31st.
Today was supposed to be my final operations day of the year, but everyone was off doing something else. so i needed to get the Sheep down from high pasture, so a stock train was run.
Southbound leaving the snow shed at lizard head it is getting dark:
next thing i knew big raindrops were coming down.
And then i ran the cleanup train from Rico. (sun came back out after a rush to get the stock train under cover)

I’m sorry today didn’t work out, Al. But, its cool to see such a long train on the RGSNH!
Hi guys,
This morning I ran my first REAL train (i.e., not a work train) on my new railroad:
Here’s one facing the other way:

Absolutely beautiful. I love the sun on the mountain peaks in the first shot.
You never tell us who paints your back drops!
Mother Nature is very talented
Stunning shots, Matt. Should start a “Is this real, or a model?” series in Trains magazine.
Marty had some that were questionable
Amazing shots, as always, Matt. I’m going to show these to my wife and see if she thinks they’re prototype photos.
Here’s my new Aster LNER B1, running at Pennsylvania Live Steamers G1 track last Saturday.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t there. We drove up on Friday to test and collect the B1, but the loco was in a car with a flat tire. They never made it to PLS, and we left about 4pm. Fortunately my friend (a) loaned his Greasley coaches for the test on Sunday and (b) he brought it back to the Baltimore area and I collected it today.
I did take my teak coaches so I got a chance to put them all on the track and couple them together!
Thank you, gentlemen. Over the past 25 years I have been blessed with great backgrounds for my modeling efforts.
Fall running near Crested Butte:
Fall running near Gunnison:
