Looking good
Update: the roof is now on, just needs the ridge cap installed yet. I used some sheet styrene and .060x.060 square stock for the ridges. the corrugated tin is index cards ran through a paper crimper
still need to do a little more rusting on it yet. next will be the logo on the rear wall, then final detail and weathering of the bricks.
Aaron?? Did the work crew git a new foreman???
Nice work…
Wow nice work.
Thank you gentlemen. Andy- Yea, the foreman is out on vacation. Funny cause I thought you had to work to get that lol So his brother stepped in. Got the sign on the back. Thought about making a sign and just putting in on, but decided I wanted to try painting it right on the brick like the real deal. Here it is after about an hour. I painted on the white and yellow, then used black and red permanent marker for the lettering, then a fine point to trace around the red
well, the crew was getting tired of climbing the walls to get in, so a stairway has been installed. Now I just need to add the railings
Looking really good!!
That looks sweat. I like the crooked beams on the back. Really adds to it.
Your hand painted sign looks really good. That is not easy to do.
Very Nice!!!
Coming along nicely. Good job.

Real Nice work, Aaron…
That sign looks great.

Crunch time: spent the weekend at our clubs large scale show, so no building got done, but now time to get to it! Got the lean to added. there will be a bench in here, along with some toolboxes and stuff.
A little more done in the back. Got the rail installed for bringing in/taking out scrap. Then I used a thick sheet of styrene from my stash and made concrete from it. I cut the pieces, then scribed in scratches, chips etc… and then did a wash of gray and then light brown to weather it.
I should be working on finishing the building itself, but got sidetracked yesterday rummaging for scrap for the yard. Found some journals from a Bachmann bobber caboose that got bashed, some C-16 parts, and some other odds and ends.
Really looking good, Aaron!
Working on some final building details today. Got the office sign hung and a light over the door. In this shot you can also see some of the painted bricks to add a little contrast to the uniformity of them.
Love the green paint.
