Us Canadians ARE pretty nice folks, especially us in the west.

Nope Chris, just B.C. Pale Ales.
It’s getting close…only about 3 weeks and the INVASION begins…
So, what’s a good hotel???

Nothing that involves you. I don’t even know if Canada is ready for you. Your wife and boy, yes. You? I really don’t know if you could get through Canadian Customs and once you were out of the USA, they may not let you back in. Especially with an alias, Rooster.
Maybe I should send Rooster through customs before I go as a distraction…

Ken Brunt said:Ken.... I'll bet, if you let Rooster go first, I'll bet he'll turn around and point at you as he's talking to the customs guys....

Well, due to unforseen circumstances involving Jane’s job, we are having to cancell our trip to the Invasion, that we were planning on making this year… It is a great disappointment to bot Jane and I… Hope to be kept posted on the goings on, with plenty of pictures…
Well, I guess this makes it official. We were also looking forward to you guys being there, but we understand and I’m sure the other people will understand, also. Now if the water just stays under control, we won’t have to make the same type of decision.
Well, that’s a bummer…
Ken Brunt said:Yes, Ken.... It really is, but I guess, such is life..... We were both looking forward to this trip, very much.... It's a pretty big disappointment for both of us, but, considering the circumstances, I do believe it's the right decision to make at this time....
Well, that's a bummer..........
We are underway about Noon today. First night in Carlock, Illinois, not far from daughter and family. It is her birthday today and we have a little celebrating to do. Woke up to 83 degrees this morning. Suppose to top out around 102. I think the humidity is going to be about the same. Time to head north. Hope Ottawa is far enough north to get out of the heat, otherwise we just may keep going.
Have a safe trip and I’ll see ya up there…
yall have a safe trip… Unfortunately, I won’t be seeing anyone there… Take pics…

Chris Vernell said:Well, that sure beats 95 in the shade with 100% humidity. Had some tree guys at the house taking down 2 trees and those poor guys went through a half dozen T-shirts in 4 hours............not a fun day...all around.Ric Golding said:Well, it was only 80 today in the shade.
