Zapped TWO Bank Tellers this morning

Every once in a while my lovely bride asks me to do some banking for her.
The drive-through opens at 0900, lobby at 1000.

My schedule today was 0910 past the Bank.
In the Jag.
Mark Two.
RHD.

The look on the teller’s faces (and there were TWO at the window when I pulled up) is unbelievable.

Blows their minds.

They cannot grasp the fact that there is one person in the car, accessing the drawer at the window, yet the car is facing the wrong direction.

RHD…Stick or auto? I got to drive a Austin that was a RHD stick with the what I was told is British shift on it. Back wards to what we have here but works great for the RHD. That took a bit to get use too.

Glade to see your having fun on the Honey Do list.

Stock RHD, shift pattern on Jags is identical either RHD or LHD.

Reverse is upper left.
PITA, with 1st (non-synchro) and reverse both up there.

Gotta make dang certain you’ve got first before you zip away at the green light.

Hi Dave.

Trust you to go against the flow.
A man after my own heart.

LOL
I have the same “issues” with the RHD mercedes when I go to europe.
Mainly toll booths on the autoroutes.
I’ve never tried reversing through though!
Must try it one day.

I'm lucky, I guess - I have one M-B [the ML350] with the steering wheel on the right and the other one [380SL] with the steering wheel on the left. Both are autos.

Over in Canada I have a ‘proper’ voyager and in Oregon I have a Scoobie.

My pedal bicycle, on the other paw, is not fussy which side I drive it on…

And if someone would have pulled in the 'Merican direction while Dave was in the line.
I would have loved to have been there then.
