YouTube tests

The first is an old video of my LGB F7ABBBBBBA “Interurban.” What else can you do with See Thru’s?

The second video (taken with as iPad 3) is of UP 844 and UP 1982 when they were in Pine Bluff, AR.

Hi Ken, How did you do that? Thanks, Jerry

You can’t post a direct link, or it will not show the screen and image (I don’t get it either)
So what you have to do is type in the actual address and it will work fine. I usually just copy and paste the direct link, then type in the actual address below it…then remove the direct link

Don’t forget the [youtube) [/youtube) quote thingies

Jerry, the simplest way I have found to do it is hit the “Share” tap that’s below the video. That brings up a highlighted URL. Copy that and paste it between these: [ youtube ] xxxxx [ /youtube ] but don’t leave any of the spaces.

Ken, thanks for your helpful hints but I am still unable to show the screen and image for a video. I was wondering whether anyone has been successful embedding a video image using IE10 Version 10.0.9200.16635 and Windows 7. Thanks, Ron

The only way it works is you have to manually enter the address, if you copy/paste it is a direct link…it will not work, not even using the share from the video on you tube.
This has been my results.
My computers that I use have either Win8, Win7, Win XP Pro, they all work the same for me posting video’s.

Vincent, thanks for your reply and helpful comments. I didn’t fully understand the URL tags but now I do. I should know that it typically is never a software conflict but rather a user issue. I did another test with the URL tags placed correctly and the video embedded perfectly! Thanks, Ron

I wish they could make it as easy as copy & paste!!

Thanks guys,

I think I got it now and it even worked with an iPad.
