Kevin Strong, Can you, or another one of the EBT enthusiasts, give any history to this building, located at the northern entrance to the Sidling Hill Tunnel?

Ric - I’ve seen it while on a Chris Coleman tour. I do not believe it was a railroad structure, just an abandon house. I bet you didn’t know that if you had followed the track another 250 feet the other way from the road you would have come to the only extant tank on the line :o

Nope, didn’t know. Andy C. told me you said that. Now we’ve got something to look for next year.

I really didn’t think I had them running at warp speed? Modern passenger trains do travel at 80 too 100mph?

I don’t want to make accusations, but here is my photo of the engine -

A well centered shot -

My last try -

After that, I just went for the long shots and lead the train. Almost got it centered, but I think someone was screwing with the throttle.

There is very little 80MPH running on Amtrac, except in the corridor

…grinning…

The first step for Rooster’s Rehab is to acquire a Shay locomotive and run it exclusively, all day long, at a Shay’s prototypical 6 MPH.

What a blast the ECLSTS was!!! It was so good to see so many familiar faces and meet new ones.

Bob, it was so nice to meet you.

I just wish the show wasn’t 2500 miles away. I’d love to come back more often.

Thanks for the memories…

Stan,
Did you drive all that way and back?

No driving on this one, John. I flew both ways…  It’s a 2500 mile one wayer.

So Stan, what you are saying is that it was actually pretty easy. We'll plan to see you next year. Same booth?

Heck, let the man rest his wings ... 5,000 miles can do a job on the old feathers, wot wot.
