This one should be easy to whip up.
The crane involved would be impressive as well.
There is a prototype for anything to model.
Guys;
Never got a photo, but Roanoke, VA had one of the strangest prototype “kitbashes” I have ever seen. This transfer caboose had a common caboose steel chassis, but the “cabin” was the short hood from a Fairbanks-Morse Trainmaster - one end open to the weather. Inside that shelter was a very large potbellied stove. The “icing” to this “cake” was a pair of Wonder Horse hobby horses (minus their base and springs) painted white and bolted to the roof of the Trainmaster short hood! It made quite a spectacle everywhere it showed up.
Probably would be fun to model if one had the photo to back up their modeling.

Jim;
Similar but not exact. The short hood had no windows on the F-M Trainmaster, and there was a high, slightly rounded snout. Also, the horses looked smaller and were totally white. Except for the horses, everything was painted black, no logo, no lettering. Nice try though.

With all the NE PA pics of that area you post I think you need to take a camping trip in the middle of the 80’s Triangle.
You got the rig all set up and ready to go?
Just Sayin’

I had my suspicions, but Wayne, you’ve confirmed it. This is sounding very much like a different triangle, also named for a place in PA…
Jon, for your safety, please don’t camp where Rooster’s suggesting.
Well, you misunderstood my post. The interstate highways that Dave posted have a very rich train history. Your reference to some science fiction movie is NOT what I was thinking… Pennsylvania, unlike Maryland, welcomes visitors.
Well Wayne, I agree. I live nearby and have enjoyed many of them.
Heck Wayne, I certainly didn’t mean my joke to offend you (or any Pennsylvanians, LSC’er’s, or other human beings for that matter).
