Yard office

Coming along…

Acrylic box with brick-embossed Magic Sculp. Modified Grandt Line windows. Now I need to figure out the doors.

When will it be done?

Someone needs to send me a weather vane for the top!

OH DAMNATION!!!
Nice…LOL

Looks VERY nice. Doors are easy…just a few strips of styrene.

Yep, have the doors done now, working on the roof. Rooster suggested copper, which I just happen to have a roll of. Stay tuned!

or you might use veneer…

oops, too late…

What’s the working time on that Magic Sculp?

You’re not getting mine…

That looks great. I think you might be able to find a weather vane in West Grove PA. Maybe Rooster will be nice and pick it up for you. LOL

The work time is very long. It takes 3-4 hours for it to harden completely, it can be worked all of that time.

More progress

Looking good. What did you decide for the roof?

I’m gonna come down there and cut that thing off!

Gonna do a copper roof, I think. I have a roll of it, ill scribe it like raised ribs. I think.

A roll of copper? How thick is it? Where did you get it?

Bruce Lowes and Home depot sells that cooper flashing in rolls. I was going to get some for my fire tower roof but the price was more then I wanted to spend.

Got this at Home Depot several years ago, never had a project to use it on until now. Its very thin and flexible. Has a paper backing glued/stuck to it. We’ll see how it goes.

K&S makes nice copper tubing or straight rod for the seams if you need that. Not sure what the plan is though. From what you were describing I think copper will look sweet!
Good luck!

Yea, Ive pondered gluing some styrene bits to the under-roof and forming the copper over it. I need to experiment.
