Large Scale Central

WWII Train model

I’m practically speechless about these photos.

The detail is amazing. You can almost hear the hustle and bustle going on…

Oh my goodness! I didn’t realize it was a model at first!

This diorama is largely composed from commercially available figures and hardware .
I have no idea of the source of the loco .
It all loooks to be 1/6 scale , and is a good example of money modelling .
Very easy to see how the camera can lie without the aid of a computer , isn’t it ?
Mike

I have seen photo’s of the engine some where before. Quite amazing, but the troops are all too clean, no dirt on boots or uniforms, no 5:00 shadow, someone needs to do some weathering !

Its a 1/35 scale loco kit from Trumpeter. do a search “1/35 trumpeter locomotive” lots of sources. Be a hellova kitbash into 1/32

Victor , not 1/35 .
I have the Trumpeter model in production at the moment , and it is definitely not it .
The stuff is all to 1/6 scale ,the figures are wearing real clothing and are readily available for a lot of dosh at good toy stores .
The tank is available off the shelf along with a lot of other accessories .
It is a large toy collection ready made , except for the engine .
Mike

I don’t think that’s 1/35!

Unless the guy is really short…

By golly , Bob , I never thought of that . Damn me .
Mike

Orrrr… the telephone poles in the rear are actual sized and he’s Bigger. Which would make the loco , 1:1!

Holy Crapzilla!

I could only open the first few pics, thats definetly NOT a Trumpeter kit!!!

Victor , you are right , the Trumpeter kit box is not big enough to hold the bits .
It’s all a plot by the Chinese to get spies into the West . Each loco comes with a Trojan Horse Chinaman who doubles as pedal power for the loco .
The smoke effect from the chimney is from the preparation of fly lice .
