Nothing major here, mainly a Bachmann Anniversary Edition 4-6-0, installed RCS’s EVO Throttle, a Mylocosound sound card, KD couplers front and rear, and incandescent bulbs in the lights instead of LEDs. New paint for the company colors and of course weathering and the 114 is ready for service.
I did cut down the pilot truck and pilot to make it more closely resemble the ET&WNC 12 and to get it to back around a curve towing cars on the front coupler. It showed up some trouble spots in the track that I need to fix that the Shays bounce right over, but then, that’s what new to the layout locos do best… Here’s a roster shot of all the WV&Ks in service narrow gauge locos at Pearce Yard over Columbus Day Weekend…
