Well, it looks like the moral of the story is; don’t post non train related subjects that are likely to result in a lot of emotionally charged responses and you won’t need to worry about getting locked down. This is a model train forum, not a place to post commentary on world events.
I guess I’m curious why a news article that reports a threat to our railroads would be against the rules.
Any thought, Bob, especially as the same thing is reported on your home page?
I guess you could color me curious too.
It is train related, but I can see where the topic could escalate into some ranting and raving.
If one of my topics were locked, I think I would appreciate an explanation.

Its the asking for political commentary implied by posting it for “discussion” that differs from the news feed posting a link to a similar article on another side.
Like Gary said, we’re a train site. I’m pretty lenient about off-topic as long as it stays civil, but politics threads ALWAYS end up with confrontation. So, not here, m’kay?
