Work train bash

I bashed up a work caboose for my work train.
Fairly easy to do. I got another crane tender.

Put the cabin in the center. Cut the tool boxes in half. Add some Bachmann coach railings and some grabs. Done!

Wow that is neat and clever.
It reminds me of a transfer caboose.
Nice job.

great workmanship ! sharp looking bash !

Another fine model John, nice!

You’ve reminded me of my first bash attempt, some 12 years ago at least. I bought the same caboose, but quite used and missing some parts. To better match my ~1:24 world, I cut the building shorter, and the entire car shorter.

To take this pic just now, I took the thing down from the shelf. And lo and behold, inside the building part were all the replacement bits I’d ordered from USAT, and further detail bits, all those years ago. So dang I need to finish dressing up this gal!

Thanks!

My dear college buddy, Dave Laughery, built the one below for me. I added the details and hand derrick. Unfortunately, Dave passed away this past February.

A nice bash as well, Cliff! Now you have a project to finish. :grinning:

Good thing this came along, just when Cliff had nothing left to do anymore!
