nice new banner… new site as well…Cool http://remotecontrolsystems.us
Might I remind readers that Cordless Renovations did not acquire any rights to “The Sale and Distribution of RCS” from me or anyone else.
The “Group” was offered those rights and declined my offer to sell them.
I remain the owner of the original Remote Control Systems (RCS) and to suggest in any way that I relinquished those rights is just plain untrue.
A pity the owners could not come up with their own name and not just copy the name belonging to someone else.
Twas wundrin when someone would post this.
That banner has been up for a few days.

I like it…it does have railroad tracks in it…
I’m staying far, far, away from this subject. I can see a legal battle coming and I hope LSC doesn’t get caught in the middle.

Be VERY careful what you step into!!! This is one you ALL want to stay far far away from!

AAAAAAAAAAAnd, lets not open this up to public comment, eh?
What Bob said STOP IT !!! NOW!! REGAL
Alan Lott said:Bob, I know this is your site and you can do as you wish, but as you are also publishing the advertisement in question, it should be open to public comment. Especially by me as I truly believe I am the party being screwed here. However, I will be glad to stop it once I have corrected a mis perception by Mr Alan Lott.
It is a nice banner: interestingly it makes only an oblique reference (the track shown) to railroads or modeling. Most users of the Forum know to what it refers but anyone not doing so might resort to a search engine. Google search, on my computer, tuned up many entries having the initials RCS. Of the first four pages, which contained some thirty six entries, none referred to railroads large or small.
I accept that there is nothing to stop anyone registering a domain name that can easily be interpreted and used for the same purposes as another, such as mine, for example.
However, in this instance I have a signed, legally binding agreement with the “Group” purchasing certain limited “rights and software” and a written agreement that they will not use the name Remote Control Systems and the initials RCS for any advertising or promotions.
The owner of Cordless Renovations was only able to purchase those same limited certain “rights and software” from the “Group” that they bought from me. He cannot simply change the terms of the written agreement because it suits him to.
The owner of Cordless Renovations knows this and agreed publicly some months ago that he would abide by the agreement, yet he persists in breaking the agreement seemingly because of his desperate need to “acquire” the goodwill of my business without paying for it.
I will leave it up to the reader to decide whether or not any moral or ethical behaviour in this matter, should be called into question or not.
Tony,
