Wireless DCC from Tam Valley

While surfing the “net” I came across this on this site http://www.tamvalleyrr.com/wirelessdcc.html

I have several Eggliners and an Annie I would like to use it in. I know thw the amp is only 1.5 and the voltage isn’t to go over 15 volts BUT will it work for my egliners and annie? Don’t need a lot of speed just have a small oval in the yard.

Thanks

Richard

Richard,

You need to buy it, try it and then we will all know.
I assume you already have the rest of the DCC equipment you will need?

I can’t get any useful information from the site… is there a page with specs?

Duncan (the owner) lives down here in San Diego, and I’ll probably see him at the Del Mar train show next Saturday, will see what I can find out.

If he makes a generic “transmitter” then you could add this to any DCC system.

The only DCC system I have is the Gwire cab and G2 receiver with motor decoders in the locos.

Just thinking If I could use the Gwirw cab with the DRS1 receiver and an inexpensive DCC motor decoder I would try one in an eggliner.

The DRS1 looks to me to be the same as the CVP converter just smaller an less expensive…

I will program the decoder in a HO engine then install it in the eggliner.

Any information you can get at the train show I would appreciate.
