Need suggestions, installing window glazing using clear plastic sheets, the window is a double hung and the lower window will move up and down in front of the upper window, there isn’t room for the movable one to move up and down if there is glazing on it. The window will be partially open on some and others will be all the way the open ? is should I put glazing on the top fixed window and just on the part of the lower window that is not in the area of the top window? All suggestions appreciated, Bill

Bill, Sounds like the solution you have come up with will work. What is preventing you from glazing both panes? Frame thickness? BTW: the top window on a double-hung should be “over” the lower one when looking in as to prevent rain from leaking in.

They are playmobil windows and yes the frame is too thick and they are built backwards
Continue the backwards build and cut individual panes glued to the front.(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Pics of the problem/issue/solution ?
Sort of worked it out myself, for some clear acrylic sheets that weren’t to thick and after sliding the sash up and down a couple of times found that what I thought was too tight was really caused by the paint that I painted it with, and after freeing up was able to slide the acrylic in and secured with Tamiya wicking cement. Thanks for all the help and ideas, Bill
