Will a forney cab fit a ruby?

Think about a kitbash but want to know before I buy the parts.

Daniel, I was actually talking to Doug about this last night. Dont think it will be a direct addition. The boiler are 2 different sizes, Ruby is smaller. Depending on your plan you should be able to work it on but remember the Ruby cab ends at the floor where the forney floor continues. What cab were you thinking of?

I know I would have to add to the floor but in the tender part mount my servo’s and reciver.

You should be able to make it work. Might need to modify the front cab wall to suit the Ruby boiler but width and length will be fice as you are making a new floor. The old Vance Bass forneys had a 1/8" plywood floor that bolted to the orignal Ruby floor to extend the cab for the rear bunker. You can also add some brass angle to extend and make a frame below.
