To reset the system after the improvements, you need to go through every forum and mark them “As Read”.
It’s a pain to do the first time, but at least it’s very fast to respond. Once you do it all will be perfect from here forward 
Bob has completed his fix to the New Posts - It now works like it used to plus the Mark All Read is extremely fast.
Last night when I came to the site and saw ALL forums with ‘New Posts’ I had some real negative thoughts! Fortunately I read this page before writing up ‘the problem,’ and found that Bob had made his magic fix. As Jon wrote, it’s a small pain to visit each individual forum and apply the “mark as read,” but when that is completed once, the ‘New Posts’ function works perfect!

Egads, Terry…is it time to start planning HIBERNATION already…I guess I’d better start looking at the the possibility of hibernation coming early this year around here too…
