I just tried to comment on a post about a pending case involving copywrite law and gray market book sales and noticed that the thread was locked. Why? Did it get nasty, as some do? Just asking. Probably better if I don’t inject a note of reason into what appears to be another example of running with the herd. Or, “Don’t confuse me with the facts, my minds made up.”

I’ve been watching the copyright/reselling thing for several months. The reason I locked the thread on this site is that on the other sites I read about this, EVERY thread turns political. Seeing we have a couple on LSC here that can’t help themselves and throw out political grenades, I’m stopping that before it happens.
Train site, people, remember? Yes, maybe this tangentially related to trains, since you and I resell our stuff all the time. But so is the price of labor in China, since most of or trains come from there. Maybe the price of copper? Eminent domain rulings? They can take our yard, our precious trains!
No, it was off topic, a hot issue, and I shut it down.
Bob, you are so right. It’s a politically-driven world out there and I get enough of that stuff in the real world. And like you said, this is a site about trains.
