Great looking show, Nick!

-Kevin.

Pretty neat that you guys did that Nick.

Thanks Guys, Its been interesting getting this up and running to this level over a 2 year period,. The show has out grown its old home and we are in talks to move it to it’s new and final home which was the plan all a long, We now have a massive vendor list so selling the shows out shouldn’t be a problem, I will keep the show all gauge but with a high degree of large scale. My intent when starting this was to make the premier all gauge show in the Northeast and I will. Not only the Quality of the dealer but what they sell. This show is a train and Hobby show only , All thou we found out the morning of the show that 2 of our out side vendors had passed away a couple of weeks ago and we had to scramble to fill a 7 table hole so we called up a vendor craft buddy of my brothers to fill it I wasn’t pleased with him selling furs and maple syrup but we needed that hole filled in 2 hours so I tolerated it . When we move the show for the final time the show will have grown from 11,000 square feet to over 50,000 with every thing the hobbyist and family’s could want from a Train show, lots of work at 1st but does get easier as each show passes. and its a family run show so no politics. Nick A few pictures from the show, I will post others on the show thread later thanks.

Korm, I live about 60 miles north of NYC, We were lucky as the storm basically split us down the middle as far as affected areas go. High winds and a little rain was it for us. 30 miles South of us and East and West of us got hammered. I've been working in the city since late Monday afternoon and all I can tell you is i've never really seen this much damage in my life. The battery tunnel was full of water. when you've seen something like that i'm thankful for were I live. But NYC is the greatest city in the world and things are starting to get back to some what of normal day by day. New generators have been installed at many of the Hospitals and other vital locations Power is coming back slow, but is coming back. The hope is to have power and heat back to 95% of folks by mid week next week before the so called snow storm hits that's headed our way. Ive gone no further south than Manhattan but I hear NJ got it worse than NYC in most areas.

how? i've been there in '87 or so. i think, that city can't go BACK to normal. it never has been normal. great, but not normal.

from the pics i see (being a retired firedep. chief and having lived through two huracanos on my ranch) i got the impression, that this sandy did as much or more damage, as katrina did.

for when do you expect a snowstorm?

Sights and sounds from this past show, Let me know what you think, always try to improve.
