Silly question, Didn’t it used to show peoples locations under their names?
I think this is helpful, especially to new people as they can see if any posters are near them.

I think that Bob has this one for action.
It may have something to do with privacy settings. If you set your privacy setting to “Friends Only,” and then have no “Friends,” that kind of limits the information that will be displayed about you.
