Lately I have found that the site magically pics threads that I have never posted on or even read and flags them as following. If I want to follow a thread I will choose to. But the software is doing it on its own. Most likely a built in way of them getting more hits for ads I’m guessing. But very irritating.
Are you talking about the “Unread” list option at the top?

Up where my my initial is and it gives number of messages, etc. It flagged me as a thread. It has added a follow the thread even though I never posted or even read the thread, so I could not have said to follow it.
