I understand that and I’m not sold on the PS wheels yet because of the ribs/flutes design and the solid axle. I still think they are plastic wheels.
They were in your junk box so why not pull them apart, clean them up and give us more and better pics .

Tapered (Some kind of hard plastic) axle with a flat spot on one side.
Cast metal wheels, non magnetic.

John Bouck, Hartland made wheels like those in your picture. I still have a few sets.
