Does anyone know to whom these cars belong, or who makes them? They look scratchbuilt. If they are, I’d like to know how they were made. They are really really good looking.
Thanks.

David Maynard built them …they are beautiful
yeah that guy he said ^
Yes, they are scratch-built cars. I made them back in 2002 or 2003.
Thanks John, Rooster and Mark
They are great looking cars. I wish they did have kits, I would buy some.
Hi, David.
Very nice looking.
Are they 1:20.3 ?
Any photos or links to photos of the prototypes?
Any surviving examples?
Thanks.
Sincerely,
Joe Satnik
Ron, Iron Horse Engraving just announced new 1:20 wood kits for EBT passenger cars (Miners coach #5, combine #16, and baggage #29). I don’t know what they’re going for. He’s got a display at the ECLSTS, so hopefully someone there can take some photos.
Later,
K
Thanks for the heads up, Kevin
Joe, The are based off of black and white photographs of Billmeyer and Small passenger cars. I built them to approximately 1:24th scale.
I am not sure what book the photographs were in. I also do not know if there are any surviving examples. Since the prototypes were narrow gauge cars, I am really unsure that there are any surviving examples.

Ya’ know I looked at them a few times "I didn’t take any pics " so it didn’t happen on my end.
