…CPR must be out playing with the “Empress” again, and Hans is out chasing her…
Well guys, sorry to disappoint … but … my disappointment was even bigger. The Armstrong Explorer - clearly advertised as a Steam excursion train - was today being pulled by a Diesel! Yes, that will teach me to make sure and check on Friday what’s up. It was yesterday’s pouring rain which made me omit that. Woke up at 01:30; brilliant moonlight and stars galore … not a cloud in the sky this morning, sooooo it was “hop to it”. Ah well, there is always next Saturday, just as long as it doesn’t rain. To tick me off even more, hardly anything happening on the CN and CP lines heading West from Kamloops. But I did find some neat photo/video locations. AND I ran into the first snowflakes!
Winter’s on the way!

That’s what was supposed to head the train! Doesn’t look like Royalty to me!
I was up a little closer to you today (Kettle Falls) and the day was quite nice…if just a tad nippy…that Fall’s in the air feeling.
I wasn’t so sure how the day was doing to develop this morning though. I woke to a really hard frost… Since it rained yesterday and the truck was still wet, I had quite a mess to scrape off my windshield this morning.
That 2141 is a beauty!
