The other day I was running along when this machine screw just fell out–and vanished somewhere in the garden
Anyone know what size it is, and where I could find a replacement. I suppose I could email Bachmann (LOL!!)
They tend to do that. I have an Annie that dropped a screw in the valve gear linkage on one of it’s forst few runs. I did a “temporary” fix with a piece of fine wire just to hold the linkage up and keep it from jamming with the rods. That was 4 years ago or more. The wire is still there.
I haven’t run either of my Annies in over a year.
This Annie has a couple little linkage screws replaced. I’m going to have to take them all out and add some locktite, I guess.

Your missing a rail joiner screw as well!

The guy at ACE hardware found me a reasonable substitute. Perhaps this winter’s project will be to replace all the substitute screws with proper ones
