For all those wondering where Willy went this is my story and I’m sticking to it. Jan 7th went to my Dr as I had been having severe lower abdominal pains and trouble with stool movements and had been taking miralax for 3 days, Dr checked me without ever laying a hand on me, was told to continue the miralax and if it didn’t clear up in a couple of days to come back, went home and came about supper time wife said I didn’t look good and took my blood pressure of which she was unable to read because too low same with O2 level, se called out to close by sons and wanted help getting me in the car which they did and she took me to the emergency room, still no pulse and after that things were a little foggy, understand they took a cat scan of me and it showed a problem area in my bowel and was taken in to operating room, they found s great surgeon who cut me open then later to discover that the bowel was ruptured and had spilled quite a bit of bowel materal in me and I was too sick to operate on They told my wife Gail if I made it through the night and improved some that they would operate on me the next day, well needless to say crazy me made it and still being cut open from the night before I guess they didn’t have to work long to get started. So did a colostomy and now when I talk **** I can see it, just look down at the bag. Dr made it reversible but not sure I want to take a chance.as I now have lots of scars down there, and have been in the hospital since Feb 7 th also with a lot of problems to fix. Then off to a nursing home or should say Hell Hole where I got two infections, and 1 abscess while there. The Dr had taken the lower stitches out below my belly button and the incision opened up bout a 4.5 " hole and was moved to the nursing home with the understanding that they would get a wound vac to help with the healing, well a month went by and I returned to the surgeon’s office still with my 4.5" hole and no wound vac, Dr came off the wall and ate them people up, of course they had all sorts of excuses as to why not but he didn’t care and he yanked me out of the with still open wound , now new abscess and urinary tract infection and back to the hospital, where they got me all back new again and with a wound vac 1 day after I was admitted which is still have, but now instead of 4.5" it’s ab;ot the size of a quarter, was able to get in to hospital’s rehab program and learned to walk again, took a bit because back is still a problem. but I am able to walk with a,walker and don’t need a transport or wheelchair, hard to believe how my mussels went to pot is such a short period, but getting there. Haven’t worked on the Mini Heisle that I had been working on at because of craft area location and still not easy to get around, but have been helping a friend that lives close by wiring his aristocraft MIkado to a phoenix sound system, little bit of a job as someone had install a remote switch to operate the whistle and is taking me a while to figure out which wires to keep and which ones to ditch, Slowly I’m getting back too it, thanks to everyone with the good wishes and prayers I’m sure they all helped and worked, stay safe, Bill, PS got released from the hospital on april 2 and sure is great to be home with good food and company.
Ran across one of your posts just yesterday and was wondering why we hadn’t heard anything from you lately, this explains it. Wishing you a swift recovery and a return to posting your builds.
Gadzooks, Bill! What a disaster! Glad you made it through somehow! Hope you continue to feel better. We enjoy having you around.

Ouch. Just too painful to think about. Not a big fan of either hospitals or rehab centers, but glad to hear you’re still with us!
Best wishes for a quick recovery…
Good to hear you are getting better, despite the (lack of) efforts of the rehab place. Hope that you continue to get back to normal quickly. Take care !!
Bill;
So sorry you have had such an ordeal, but glad you are still with us. I have heard it said, “Getting old ain’t for sissies, but it beats the alternative!” Sure hope you can have some clear blocks and good highballing for a while now. I always enjoy seeing your projects.
All the best, David Meashey
Thanks David, it’s nice to still be here and I expect to get back too it soon, just waiting to get my tips of my fingers to feel, Bill
