Richard has been awful quiet lately. I expect some real announcement from that area, shortly. Richard, what are you up to?
Maybe he and Andre ran off or something. They’ve both been MIA for a while.
Last I talked with Richard he was indulging in peach pie so perhaps the two are on a Peach pie binge or something?
I missed him on chat just t’other day
I believe his better half was/is having health issues, maybe that’s why he has been absent of lately.

We’re still alive & kicking here. Been the rainiest winter around here on a day by day basis for a long time. Haven’t been able to work on the RR in any meaningful manner in six months and a bit nippy too so nothing much to report on. Scads of deferred maintenance to do on the structures, etc., mostly fairly minor but a lot of it. Today was a pretty nice day but had to go to the BIG city (Coos Bay) to lay in supplies.
I hope to be back in the saddle shortly. In the meantime I’ve been living vicariously through the work of you guys.

Takes a lot of sustenance to maintain energy out here. After all this is where we drink our beer from 55 gallon drums…through a 3" pipe!

My biggest problem now is whether to backtrack on construction and perform much needed maintenance work or to defer it another year and finish the trackwork.
You need to have a work party, Richard!

Finish the trackwork! Assign the work party to the maintenance… or just chalk it up to “Weathering” and get it all at once…
