What blows my mind is the driver didnt even attempt to contact the house owner, theres even a intercom on the gate, nope, I want lunch so… toss!
At least Fedex was embarassed enough to settle. I have an interesting similar story about UPS …
I usually try to use the Postal Service to ship.
Everything I recieve from UPS looks like it’s been through a trash compactor.
Fed Ex seems to be more hit & miss. Sometimes the boxes look fine, sometimes they’re a bit beat up.

I worked for an international airline all my working life. Our airline provided ramp service for all the major airlines that flew to Australia. In the years prior containerised loading when everything was man handled, the degree of abuse that packages suffered was embarassing. Passengers could see the ramp personnel manhandling and abusing their suitcases and baggage. All freight was handled in the same manner. When questioned as the the meaning of ‘Fragile’ or ‘Handle with Care’ stickers on the packages, the response was yes, definately handle with care so that your health was not impacted. In other words throw, kick or drop items, but do not strain your back in doing so. Any attempt at pointing out the abuse was usually met with implied violence. These people are employed for their brawn and not their brains!
I always use U S Postal Service Priority Mail. I have had little problems.
I send Priorty Mail no problem they even pick up.
Vic,
I never have seen that advert previously. It is very apt, although the gorillas that worked for my company would have made piecemeal of any luggage. I like the latest advert where the suitcase is impacted between the speeding test car and the concrete wall. The suitcase collapses on impact but immediately springs back to shape when the car is moved away.
And some more great news for shipping fans…
At this rate the local Hobby Shops should be getting close to being price competitive with the online stores…

Geez,
Here’s another one…from UPS.
This guy’s a real moron. Flips the bird to the security camera before tossing the package.
I guess he isn’t aware of the high unemployment rate. A statistic he will now be a part of
