Oh no! Itās WINTER and itās SNOWING! What a cruel trick of fate!
Weāre getting some here in Northern Virginia, where it is known to actually accumulate - at least in the WINTER. Not so much in warmer weatherā¦ 
Here in Ottawa, where we are known for being one of, if not the COLDEST capital city of a country; we are experiencing temperatures of -28C. This is cornfusing all sorts of things. The Great Pumpkin is so mixed up that he/she is leaving FROZEN Pumpkin pies for good boys and girls in frozen pumpkin patches all overā¦and even on Garden Railroads too.
Weāre not THAT coldā¦right now itās 27 Fā¦(or around -3 C)ā¦but a LOT of snow. According to the weather guessers youāre looking at 1/2 inch. Reality begs to differ hereā¦

Well, we had no accumulation, Bruce. Very rare that we get snow of any kind and even more rare to have it stick. But it was pretty while it lasted
It was 0f this morning when I woke up, but its now in the low 20s, and weāre expecting about 6" of snow overnight.
Maryland Division of the Virginia & Truckee checking in. We got snow in Mound House.
Bruce, youāll recognize those buildingsā¦ And yes, I confess, they still arenāt level, but thatās what those pavers are for (spring project!).
Ours is āsupposedā to turn to rain this eveningā¦but so far, itās cold and snow.
Iām going to wait until tomorrow to see if I need to think about maybe clearing the driveway.
Well, rain overnight chased away much of the snow; the driveway is still white, but it looks like I can leave it be and hope the rest really melts. (Iām NOT lazy, I just prefer the sun to do my work. 
)
Woke at 700 to about 5ā of snow, but it had turned to driving rain and 40f. Had to dig the foul weather gear out of the sailing bag to stay dry while clearing the driveway. Yuk.
Love it ! Bout time you put some structures outside for the elements! We will have you plowing snow before yaā know it !
