Yeah I love'm to death, but they'r just too dam big for the inside layout, I actually have 4 superliners now, and the single F40 engine pulls'em just fine even on the grades but they tend to get derailed on the tight cuves, they get pulled right off :O so its off to beddy-bye with them for now until I can lay some 8' diameters out back in the side yard.
They would look awesome on my 12.5 diameters outside. Your quite lucky to own such! Actually I want the Superliners more than the F-40 anymore...stop teasing(lol)... Please give me first dibs if you decide to sell! ...;) Wait can they be leased??? David

Painted and decaled, note the double coupler up front, so I can pull everything :)\

I’ll be giving a light weathering later on, but it came out much better than I expected. maybe I should send this over to Phil at HLW, he’d get a kick out of it, actaully might give them an idea for a future release

I feel Phil is always appreciative of what people do with the HLW products.

Neat. I like the look!

Just a quick video of the boxcab testing, pulling the local train thru Borracho Springs on the indoor layout

now imagine that with some Bmann 45tonner side-rods…Cool Idea Vic!

Nice work!

Great looking loco, however It looks to be missing a catenary
Dave

yes Dave , I watched the video several times , its such a darling , and it needs a pantograph for sure .
It just looks ‘electric’ !

Yes its inspiration partially came from electirc motor units but there were also some centercabs that were also very similar to this engine, I was just using what was available in my supply box. Somewhere down the line I actually DO intend to add some catanery to my indoor line but thats off aways right now
