Even wholesale changes are usually acceptable to all as long as they are well tested and debugged prior to implementation. Being as it is my understanding that this site is a ‘hobby’ for you as well as the railroading, I understand the time constraints and greatly appreciate the time and effort you spend to keep this site quick and reliable.

Bob C: Yep, the site is run strictly as a hobby. The advertising pays to keep the site running, with maybe some beer money left over, but I’m not retiring on it. Most of the changes I want to make fall into three categories. 1) Changes to make it easier for ME to run the site (user management, forum maintenance, etc), 2) ‘Fixes’ to keep up with changes in the way browsers handle different things, and 3) Improvements to the site to make it easier to be a member of.
And for that Bob, we are very grateful…
