NO…NO…NO…Nick is, if anything, a bear keeper…I asked what the BEAR’S NAME is…
Don’t be the one that says there is no Santa Clause…
G-Bear
I’ve only told 2 of my friends, but I’m sure you could find someone to tell you Tom.
Greg
I started this thread; only to try to promote “The Aristo Bear”, and it’s roll at the ECLSTS. The bear promotes the fun in LS Model Railroading, and a charity that promotes helping children…the future of our World, and the hobby that we enjoy.
The idea was not to try to find out “Who Santa Clause is”, or what shoes the bear wears.
In any case, some people couldn’t PLAY along with the thread, and keep the humour in it.
…we might have actually “Discovered a name for the bear”, and made it part of the fun…
I'm sorry to have caused "The Bear" any trouble, and ask that we all close this thread.
I apologize to the person who wears the bear costume, for starting this thread, and hope that, at least the people whose names have appeared on this thread will contribute to the Children’s Charity that you represent so well.
I hope to be able to get to York, and add my contribution too.
OK, let’s paws for a moment.
While unbearable, did Aristo’s management actually bare themselves and name the “bear” prior to birth of this toy?
Wendell
Oh , dear ,
I see trouble bruin here .I can’t bear it .
Mike
I’ve never been to a train show where the bear has appeared.

You’re going to roll the Aristo Bear at ECLSTS ?? Probably worth it with all those charity bucks he’ll be toting
Love it!
Kudos to Mike and Jon – above posts.
However, Rev. Fred has a point as to the possible train appeal to kids per the bear. I remember the “bear” in a gondola – a starter set – with a Christmas theme at the Queen several years ago.
It did garner some attention.
Just the bear facts, folks.
Wendell
Fred et al ,
Bear with me on this , it may bear fruit .
Why not ask for suggestions for a name ?
It doesn’t need to be a “real” name like Patsy , it could be an acronym or part one like “ELSCY” .
I will go for “ARIBAR”
You may think it bare faced cheek for suggesting it , but this may make up for the bearly bearable spoiling of your post .
Mike
He’s one of the Aristocraftcy.
Clearly, Tom Ruby secures the pun award with “Aristocraftcy.” Then Mike Morgan sensing “trouble bruin” also gets the nod.
My two scent worth.
Wendell
Who would win the match ?
AristoBear or A&W bear ?
both u.s. based / Aristo’ is younger / A&W has a larger backing fund and ultimately better medical coverage (corp.) so likely no concerns at all about life-altering injuries sustained in defending its honour / albeit hobbyindustry vs food industry / honey, grains & fibre vs fatty processed meats, hi-sodium add-ons / farts vs embedded time honoured (brand) tune/ . . . .
nite,
doug c
p.s. aristo’, by a bloody claw !
