What has happened to the forum?

Or is it me?

ALL the fonts on the entire forum have gotten smaller on MY screen. This, for instance, is now showing in 8pt.

If it gets much smaller I’m going to have to give up.

Tac,

if it gets worse you (probably) can get a browser that lets you adjust the displayed size … somewhere in options, tools, whatever

I know mine hasn’t changed although it got slightly smaller a couple weeks ago and I had to increase my screen size. I never gave it a thought because with my poor eyesight I keep mine larger anyway.

Try holding the “CTRL” key and pressing the “+” key

Try putting on your spectacles…:wink:

(or have Ig read it to ya…or get the Braille version…:wink: )

Or at least do CTRL 0 to ensure you haven’t inadverttenly changed the zoom of your explorer windows … for whatever reason that seems to be easy to do, and affects all subsequent openings… Whereas CTRL + and CTRL - increase and decrease the zoom, CTRL 0 sets it back to normal.

Its your eyes that have gotten smaller…happens with age. :wink:

Thanks for the font size remedy.
The control key plus either pressing the + or the - does control the font size.

It happened when I “upgaded” my Firefox to 6.. from 3.*

Holding down ctrl and tapping on + helps ! Then do a refresh the broswer sometimes remembers ‘your’ preferred viewing ‘size’.

I found the adjustment of font/size down under options, for some reason did not work the way I would think !

Humour on!

In TAC’s case it was/is a problem of location. I heard/read they are really downsizing in the UK, stands to reason that the fonts would get smaller!

H-J - I knew there was a valid reason…

Seriously, I’ve just just updated to aol 10.1 and it’s all back to normal now…phew…

Thank you HJ, that helped alot. It was in the View drop down under text size. They keep making it harder for us old guys and then we lave!!
Steve I’m not going even touch that one!
