What happened to TOC?

Someone mentioned Dr. G. is TOC.
Who ticked him off this time?
Why the name change?.

Dave is alive and well; running a railroad, in the North West. Seems that his railroad is very busy, in spite of the down-turn…

Chatted for a while yesterday on the tele, email today…says he is busy with installs…good to hear!

Umm, Dr. G is a guy named Matt who lives in Fort Myers, Fla. and is an FEC nut (see this thread - http://www.mylargescale.com/Community/Forums/tabid/56/forumid/9/postid/84964/view/topic/Default.aspx ).
Unless Dave has gotten a degree in Pharmacology and is living better through chemistry as Dr. Feel Good  , then I seriously doubt its our beloved Dr. Goodson.

This would probably be a case where one site’s Dr. G is not necessarily another site’s Dr. G!!

I dare say our resident ‘doctor’ was awarded an honary degree from the Universtity of one-point-two-oh! No doubt he has found that there is a life outside of forums. More financially rewarding and less draining on mental resources.

It is possible that the other “Dr.G” takes the “G” from the “scale”.

MAYBE he’s just BUSY runnin trains hee hee LOL The Regal

Did anyone run over there last Friday?

Yes, I ran at the CCRR Friday night.

There were about 8 trains running at one time I was told. It was kind of a strange day Dave (TOC) said. A couple of people arrived really early and then left so it was quiet for a while until the rest of us started showing up. Most of the regulars were there, but not all. Nice day for running but got really cold after dark. Dave was his usual charming self. There was a visitor from Maine who’s name I cant recall. Dave said to me some time ago he is trying to stay away from the … (explative deleated) as it’s not worth the aggrevation.

I concur, TOC is alive and well, and as his “token” DCC friend (ha ha) I can communicate that he’s tired of all the politics and bickering. You have to understand a lot of history to put this in perspective.

I respect his decision.

Regards, Greg

Sad, indeed.

Too bad, I like to read his posts. Glad he is well. Tell him HI!

look what I found while snooping around the archives at MLS:

Not surprised, I mean really a head can take so much wall banging. Those that see/talk to him pass on my best.

What a great layout!

Cale, All:

Those pictures of Dave Goodson’s Colorado Consolidated Railroad on Rick Blanchard’s Urban Eagle website are from 1998! That’s over 10 years ago, and still chugging along.

Happy RRing,

The video is about 8.9MB and a resolution of 640x480 (so don’t view with your player full screen).

Great shots Timmy. Thanks for sharing.
