What a Difference 250 Million can make!

Obama up to this point has had about 250 million more to work with than McCain. At this point Obama has received around 600 million to McCains 360 million.

Obamas campaign apparently likes to eat a lot.

While McCain must not have as many mouths to feed.

Lots of interesting stats here!!

The Obama camp has all those volunteers to feed.

While Obama has more dough on hand than McCain, The RNC has more the 6 times the dough than the DNC ($110M vs. $17M about a month ago - http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0908/The_RNCs_cash_advantage.html ). Party funding only needs to be matched 50% by the candidate.

I’m not seeing that large of a difference here. As far as what each party has spent thus far it appears that both have spent almost equal amounts. As far as cash on hand it looks to me to be, 22 million for the DNC and 76 million for the RNC.

the DNC

This is as of today.
