I decided to start a new post because of the pictures and there are lots. This first railroad belongs to Gary & Jonette Lee, “The Baker & Grande Ronde Railroad”. The entire railroad is “Hand Laid Track” and it is awesome. It starts in his shop and travels over an area of 120’ x 35’ and it is point to point. The lower area is 18" off the ground and climbs over 8’ alone the top section and down the other side.

This shows the road bed, its treated 2x material that is clamped straight & pre-dried before installation.

This shows the ties glued to the dried treated wood before the track has been spiked down. All his rail is code 332 brass.
