With situations interesting at other locations and the New Year upon us, I thought I would extend a welcome from one average, not exceptional or held to higher esteem, member of this site to those that might venture into this a “Coffee Shop”. You’ll recognuize familiar names, if you have been around this hobby for awhile. Enjoy, be polite, don’t purposely piss anyone off or we’ll sick Bart on you and even Bob doesn’t like that.
You’ll catch on, just hang around for awhile.

Chris Vernell said:Wellllllllllllllllllll from what I read and hear you lot are in deep trouble. Didn't you write something about "like in 1970"? How well I remember that winter, Ottawa had never looked better! Mind you hard to judge on my very first visit, with snow banks so high I had to inch my way into intersections. And the locals being in a feisty mood on account of it all. :D ;) :DRic Golding said:Hey, you spoil alla my fun ... Gotta keep HJ steaming or Alberta don't getta any more chinooks.

Without Marvin here…HJ fills in…we just gotta piss someone off for exercise during happy hour…!!!
Young Marvin, btw, is alive and well.....I'm sure he would send warm regards, if asked.....!!!
No, I'm not going to ask....!!!!
This is all brought about due to what some "Editors" are calling "A Back to Normal" Eastern Canadian Winter.
Where we try to find ways of staying sane; Hibernate: and find warmth in the company of a fine young woman, or a great bottle of a Highland Malt.
Finding a bit of exposed “Thin Skin” can lead to a great host of humourous suggestions, and we could even delve into non PC waters and find someone substituting something else for the “Warm, fine young lady”.
Bears have been suggested as Hibernating partners; but I’m not in anyway going in that direction…but if you care to; their caves are not hard to find…
Polar Bears can be found while including a train trip in your life…Via Rail runs Polar Bear trips to Churchhill Manitoba, for those interested. Polar bears usually find dens in snow banks…I would sugest that a cave in a more Southerly part of Ontaio would be better, with a Black Bear yearling…
Mind you…I’t’s not my thing, but for those of the New Generation, where “Anything Goes”; I give you this bit of information.
You can also enjoy a trip on the Ontario Northland train to James Bay…there are, I’m told a fair number of fine young Eskimo Lasses, looking for “Fair Skinned” hunters for husbands, up there…Again it involves a bit of Railroad travel, and isn’t that what this diversified hobby is all about…you can research a real railroad in action, and find a warm heart at the same time.
It can help to pass this long winter of snow and ice, more “Warmly”…!!!
Smile.....
BTW…Young Carl Vogel, of Vogel Family fun; is on a quest to reserect names from the BTL’s past…so far he has located a couple, incuding the “Biker Dude” and is close to finding out the haven of “White Kitty”
Marvin is kept up-to-date by lurking around here, and through young Carl and his many contacts; knows what grade of milk you enjoy on your “Breakfast of Champions”…!!! He is one of my all-time favourite “Charactors”, in the hobby; he keeps me in stitches…so I sit and listen to “The Cycle of Fiends”, each day, and only prod, when I see bare thin skin…!!!

I have you know this is all child’s play compared to what goes down on some of the other fora … no names mentioned, no locations given … suffice to say that some people ingested a large dose of “pissed on cereal”. But you know how it is, Life’s a bitch!
