After a few years watching my AccuCraft ‘Earl’ [named after the famous lobster], gently wasting my hard-earned steam in a constant ‘feather’, and dissatisfied with the archaic and ineffectual design of AccuCraft’s own product, I contacted Jim Saunders of Wee Bee replacement safety-valve fame. Turns out he’d not done one for a ‘Countess/Earl’ before, so he asked me to see how I got on with what he’d made for me - set at the recommended 60psi.
It took less than two weeks from order, to installation, and this morning as the weather was good, after a five-minute install, we got running.
Needless to say, any concerns Mr Saunders may have had evaporated like steam in the morning sun.
