Website hosting

Okay, okay, I know… its not a train. But since I’m trying to build a stable home for my website: http://www.fccorp.us ; I’m gonna come here.

For those of you with your own sites, where do you serve it from? I’m not interested in a home-based server. I need full DNS record editing ability in ordere to designate gmail for my MX servers. I also need php support. It doesn’t need a high level… just enough to be able to pull off a php_include option.

I use 1 and 1. They are reasonable; no traffic costs and huge amounts of storage. They include at least one domain name with full DNS configuration capability. Numerous email addresses and unlimited sub-domains included.

You can choose a Windows based on Unix based server depending on your needs.

I use GoDaddy for all my domains. I pay for a single hosting service with the remaining being aliased in. NO traffic tariffs and more email accounts than I will ever use. About $120.00 per year, which I consider reasonable. Milages vary.
