I have been working on a web site for my garden railroad. I had the blog site but was not happy with it. It seemed too confusing and more features then I needed. After researching free sites I came across tripod.com. Its a simple set up and seems to work for my needs. If I feel I need more I can upgrade for 5 and change a month. Is not bad. Anyway here is what I have so far. Its still a work in progress but Im happy with the look. If anyone has any tips let me know.

Very nice site!! I will be checking in often.

Change “Aboot My Garden Railroad” to “about” on the main menu
On live steam: “Atistocraft” could be changed…
You have some really beautiful creations there, congratulations!
Greg
Lol thanks Greg. Funny I look at it a hundred times and didn’t even notice it. Eyes play tricks.

I just thought you were Canadian.
Looks good. Let us know how well this Tripod works out, I have been thinking I really need to do this for the pizza, are your pictures hosted on that site or remotely and linked?
Vic. Its a really good site. I researched a lot of free sites and this is by far the best free site. The adds are not too intrusive. You can add photos either through tripod or link them. I upload mine to the tripod site. You can link videos as well. I think it would be perfect for your Pizza.
Once I got rid of all the trackers and ads, it’s a nice site, Shawn.
Hah, since I run Adblock Plus and Ghostery, did not see any ads…
I’ll have to turn them off to see what “normal” people see hee hee…
Greg
Shawn,
Keeep up the goood work. (just joking)
Pat
Looks good Shawn. I’ll spend some real time there in the near future
Looks good. You have a nice looking layout and a good eye for pictures.
Terry
Thanks guys. John that’s the disadvantage of free web sites. I only get two ads on my end. Eventually I might pay the $5 A month. Then the ads go away.
Hollywood I look forward to you coming up. Im hoping to host something again like last year, after the Canadian invasion

Just added. I put it under About my garden railroad. I made a favorite web sites section.
Nice work Shawn! What would you think about adding a “Contact Me” from your website?
Shawn- Nice looking site. I really like the pics of your railroad.

Nice job, Shawn…
Looks great. Have always loved your line. Looks really good on your site. I like your choice of colors too.
