Being a quick on the uptake old git , I have learned how to tell what the weekend weather is like in the USA ----------------WITHOUT LOOKING AT A WEATHER MAP !!! WOW , how smart is that then , huh ? Huh ?

Yes, Mike; we didn’t have the greatest weekend here in Ottawa. Saturday was cold and threatened rain all day.
There were some hearty souls that did run a train or two, but the operation; the first of the season was postponed.
I did manage to get the Connie on to the track, and she ran like a charm…hadn’t even charged the gel cells since last Fall…love them gels…!!!
The new alignment at Lilly is now in service, with just the guard rails on the bridges to be installed.
The week ahead looks to be a good one ; weather wise.As long as you remember the old adage:
“What follows two days of rain in Seattle?”
“Monday”.

Last night; EDLST, at 24:00 hours sharp, under a full moon; I did my usual “Nude Sundance”; to the delight of several neighbours and a bunch of feline admirers.
The local constabulary were not called so I gather that the female neighbors enjoyed the show…
This is a ritual that usually blesses us in the area of four blocks square; with fine weather for at least 4 days in the next twenty days.
The ritual also sets the date for my monthly underwear change; along with the suggestion of a bath.
It's effects on life outside of the four blocks, has not been accurately reported on. This could be a good project for your leisure moments this month.Fred ,
As long as it’s only the suggestion of a bath , I shall give it much thought . Must look in Yellow Pages to find four and twenty virgins . I believe they came down from Inverness .
I am puzzled by the mention of underwear . That would surely retain waste , not let it out onto the pavement .
