The construction of the new Yard on the WCNG is finally nearing completion. On Monday three switchstands were installed on the yard ladder:
On Tuesday the next to last bit of track, and the last switch was built and installed, and a switchstand added:
Still yet to be added are the two rails that finish the passing siding between the Escape track and the Departure track. Then operations in the Yard can begin! A cabin track is planned at the end of the departure track, but will prolly be awhile before its installed.
