WCNG Shay No7 “Cinderella” was finished in time to be entered in the Modeling Contest at the 18th National Garden Railroad Convention in Cincy. Competition was tough, we had a table full of Shays, as well as some interesting other items of motive power. No 7 took First Place, with our own Norm Anderson taking 2nd with his rendition of the Mich Cal Deuce, so the LSC Shay Team cleaned up! The lighting wasn’t the best in the Contest Room for photography so those photos didn’t turn out, but here are a few I took after returning.
