Waverly Southern visits the Rio Grande Southern

A couple of months ago, Dan Hilyer from Alabama contacted me and told me he would be in Phila. on business and would like to visit my layout while he was in town. This week was the week he was in town so bright and early him and his buddy (crap, Dan I forgot his name already)set out for West Grove. After about an hour of the usually BS’ing that goes on after he arrived, he took a freight train around the layout.

It was pleasure putting another face to a name on LSC and having him visit the the layout. Great guy and we all had a good time.

Thanks Ken for opening up your layout for a couple of rednecks from Alabama. Alan and I had a great time. Ken has a fine layout and those of you who are going to the operating session in a couple of weeks are in for a real treat. Wish I could join you. Ken is a great ambassador for not only LSC but for the largescale RR hobby as a whole. Did I word that right Ken? I will be looking for that check in the mail(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif). All joking aside, Ken was a great host. I hope to get back and operate more trains soon. I will post some photos and a couple of videos when I get back home. Again, thanks very much Ken.
