Watch where you park when train watching!

Wow! Amazing to catch that on video. The two guys in the truck are lucky it didn’t hit the cab.

They played it on the news this morning and said the driver said he didn’t see the train coming! But if that was the case why was he parked where he was?

I have a video like that with a propane truck … most of what you see is me running/jumping back into the truck, and the floor of the truck as I drive away as fast as I can.

As it turns out, the train was going a lot slower than I thought, and stopped in time. But, had it not, I didn’t want to be around for the boom!

The truck that was hit was not parked, you can see it at the beginning of the video driving along the tracks on the other side. He got hit while crossing the tracks.

But even if he didn’t see the train, how could he fail to hear it too?

I’ve seen that video. You definitely made the right decision.

Ever see the movie Super 8 ? 3 kids are filming a home movie at a train station when a passing fast freight derails. The crash goes on for minutes and is quite spectacular, even if not too realistic.

Maybe he had his radio too loud and he was talking on his cell phone and texting on his smart phone. Oh he had to take a sip of coffee. Hopefully his coffee didn’t spill.

Then he could sue the coffee place as well as the railroad.

Heck, he probably has another reason to sue the coffee place. Because his coffee was too hot it MADE him stop too close to the train!
