I am trying to find a Hartford - Carter 24’ ventilated boxcar kit. Any suggestion for where I might look? The company changed hands just as I got to the point of buying some of their kits. I have chased down the Tiffany and a Westside caboose. I really want to find one of those boxcar kits.
If you have one you might be willing to part with, or know where I might find one, please let me know.
Bob Hartford reported here a few months ago that he bought back his business and was going to start up again soon. You might just be able to get a new one from Bob before long.
I e-mailed Bob and he didn’t indicate any hope for the future. I read somewhere that he will be featuring parts from his old company. It’s a shame because those were some very nice kits.
