Large Scale Central

Wanted: RhB Crocodile

Newer model with five digit number e.g LGB 20400, RhB413; LGB 20405, RhB 411; LGB 25402 RhB 412. They are the brown type.

If you have one that is “under-employed” and needs a home where it gets to run, please send me a PM. Thanks!

Not for sale, but what is the difference in the newer model from the older one like I have?

This one is from the LGB Alpine Classic set (came with 2-passenger cars) and has a great sound system.
Great running engine, I always wanted to get another one.

Yours is one of the new ones! The old ones had a split motor block — sandwich type — and depending how old they even had screw-in light bulbs, with a variety of different electrical boards.

The only flaw on the type you have: the squealing brakes were actuated after the engine stopped.

Yeah they kind of messed up on that, but otherwise the sounds are fantastic.
I want to say I bought the set in 1999(?).

I have here a special edition blue croc for sale - not mine, but my pal Broos’s. It’s been advertised for about a year, with totally NO interest at all.

Full MTS and digital sound and in immaculate condition with all original packaging et al.

Trouble is, it’s over here…
