Guys,
Does anyone have one of those little “American” style coaches they want to part with?
They are about half or one third the size of the standard western coach. I think they came in train sets.
I just need the body (windows and roof, as well). They want waaaay to much for them on evil bay.
John. do you want the coach, the baggage car or both? Unfortunately all I have is the bodies, no roofs.

I was thinking about making something like an 1870s D&RG smoking car out of one or both (BTW the seated fellow is Jesse Sharp)

and maybe a mail car from the other.

But I have half a zillion projects in the que ahead of them. So if you can use them let me know.
Mik,
I need that “Jackson-- Sharp” type roof as well.
Thanks for the offer, tho.
Your stuff will be there Monday.
If you want to do that project, a “euro roof” will do quite nicely.
I might have one somewhere.
Keep that idea in mind.
So who is Jesse Sharp other than a guy that went over Niagara Falls in a kayak? I take it, of Jackson and Sharp fame?
HeckifIknow
Jesse Sharp, yes of Jackson and Sharp, the guys who built the car. There are dozens of J&S builder’s photos in the Delaware online archives… high res and zoomable
